As a generalization include the Poisson manifolds that do not have bilinear form, but only an antisymmetric bivector. In the first part, I will discuss geometric methods for non-parametric methods on non-Euclidean spaces. Surgery refers to cutting out parts of the manifold and replacing it with a part of another manifold, matching up along the cut or boundary.
